Swimming with the Blue Dolphins . . .

My family and I took a trip to Panama City Beach. While there we had a change in our schedule so we decided to take the time to stop by and take a tour with Blue Dolphin Tours. To our pleasant surprise, it actually ended up being by far a greater use and enjoyment of our time. If you are in the mood for some good ole’ fashion Florida summer fun, then you need to stop by these guys.

They have a wonderful set of captains and crewmembers which are very well educated in the environment that they work in. The tours they provide are great fun for the whole family as everyone gets to experience a variety of things that you often miss on a regular tour boat of 30-45 people compared to the 10 or under trips they provide. Our captain who took my family and me on the afternoon tour was very enthusiastic and great narrator who made the trip more of an unfolding adventure as he took us to various places to highlight the area, swim with dolphins and to snorkel in an area full of star fish and other interesting sea critters. Whoo-hoooo! Spring Break is back! It’s Island Time!

Boy, it’s seems like a long time since last summer and what a lot of crazy weather we had across the Good Ole’ USA since then. But right now things are looking pretty sweet with clear blue skies and sparkling clear water as far as the eye can see. Cruisin’ Panama City Beach

For several years now, my family has been visiting Panama City Beach and loving every trip. With its beautiful water, sugary white beach and inland hot fishing spots, it is the perfect place to get away. Panama City Beach has everything the family loves to do, such as swimming, sunbathing, fishing, golf or taking the shuttle to get lost for a day on Shell Island. Never-never Land is in Panama City Beach?

For the past few years my family has been enjoying taking our vacations in Panama City Beach. Now, what I would like to clarify is that it’s not like the rest of the time and we’re just stuck in some congested ole’ town somewhere, landlocked with no accessible water. Nope, that certainly isn’t our case here in Crystal River, Florida. To be honest, we are literally less than three miles, mere minutes, from a beautiful beach area with a crystal clear freshwater spring that feeds into Kings Bay and the out to the gulf. From the moment we decide to go out for the day in only thirty minutes we can be loaded up and driven to where we can launch our boat or just throw the kayaks and be off on one of several quick excursions to other incredibly fabulous springs to swim or fish. Well then, with all this in our own backyard it should be evident that Panama City Beach must have a lot to offer in order to get us up and out of our own fine little home town. Read More
